Austin, TX (November 7, 2016) - Texas chart-topping hitmaker Curtis Grimes is returning to his roots with his new album Undeniably Country, available November 18. The album, featuring the current single “From Where I’m Standing,” is a collection of songs that reminisce of music and traditions popular in decades past anchored by heavy steel guitar, fiddle and other classic instrumentation. The album, produced by country music artist and fellow traditionalist Trent Willmon who praises Grimes for his best work yet, will be available everywhere digitally and at Grimes’ shows.
”I've had the privilege of working with Curtis for a few years, and he has finally made the album that fits who he really is,” says Willmon. “He has gotten back to his roots and is singing better than ever.”
The lead single “From Where I’m Standing,” penned by multi-platinum country music recording artist Thomas Rhett, “Buy Me A Boat” singer Chris Janson, and hit Nashville songwriter Jaron Boyer, is currently sitting at Number 10 on CDX Traction Texas and just right outside the Top 10 on the Texas Regional Radio Chart and follows his last four number one hits including “Bottom Of The Fifth,” “Baby Don’t Cry,” “Our Side Of The Fence” and “The Cowboy Kind.” Undeniably Country also boasts “If You Ask Me,” a love ballad, the deeply Spiritual “Born To Die,” “Everything Hank Did,” a honky-tonk ditty and the nostalgic “Ten Year Town.”
“I wanted to make a traditional country record that reflected my personal musical taste and where I am in my life right now, and having total control of every aspect on this project I was able to achieve that,” says Grimes. “I’m extremely proud of what Trent and our talented musicians brought to the table to help create my best album to date."
Pre-sale for Undeniably Country is available now on iTunes and includes four instant downloads.
